never order from a retailer. :eek:

i would cancel the order and reorder directly from apple.
 
I cant; as Apple doesnt provide consumer finansing for danes apparently, and I dont have the cash for it.

Spoke to the courier and they said Tuesday next week (after Apple's worst case arrival date).

My friend who ordered his the day after mine (Thursday) got his today (Thursday)!

I'm trying not to be anoyed because I know there is a certain amount of 'luck' involved in getting things on time (lots of things can hold up a shipment including plane delays, bad weather etc) but I can't help feel the service from TNT leaves alot to be desired. Last time I ordered my Late 2006 MBP I had it on Wedneday. The thing shipped out at 3am on Sunday morning - now thats service!

For nearly $4K AUD I would expect standard rather than "economy" shipping (or least offer us the option of paying for expedited shipping like they do in the US).

I'll go back to pouting and waiting now...

Well, I ordered just 20 minutes after the keynote, a 2.53 Ghz, nothing added, no CTO. And my estimated delivery is oct 31 - 3 nov... so I'm worse off. :p

I dont know what is going on with my macbook pro i ordered the better model with original configuration, i only changed to US keyboard. That was on 15th of october.

My tracking info looks scary ) The lady at UPS told me that i will recieve it tomorrow. It looks like it is still in holland, it should be delievered to austria.

I am also looking at this for last 3 days:
Your package has experienced an exception.

Lady at the UPS is still telling me that in her computer she still sees delivery on friday (tomorrow). I dont have my hopes to high. I still hope i will get it tomorrow, but i expect it next week.

It's been "in transit" from Shanghai for over a day now!!

Any ideas when I could be receiving it? FedEx says next week, but I'm hoping it'll be sooner since it seems like some people have been receiving their MBPros 2-3 days after shipment.

Looks like we are in the same boat. Im hoping for Friday but I can easily see it coming monday. Although tonight I am going to put out the pre-release form just in case. Mine has to get to Indiana so I seriously doubt it will get here by the time the trucks head out. :(
