I've had my eye on the THS Skinny Bumper for a while. Looks really good! Does the white one seem like it'll get dirty easily or discolor over time?

I know exactly what you mean about cases. I keep seeing ones that I like and can't help myself

I've only had the THS case on the phone for a couple of days now, so it's pure speculation on my part to answer one way or another but it doesn't seem to pick up dirt very easily and I don't think it will discolor. I will definitely keep an eye out for any discoloration or if it ends up looking dirty for normal everyday use. If you've been eyeing it, I'd recommend giving it a try. It's truly minimalistic, feels good in the hand, the volume and lock buttons are lined up perfectly and even though the cut out for the headphone jack is somewhat recessed the handful of different headphones I've tried with the case on have had no issues with fitment. I have the Lucky Labs Spectra wrap and a PS front and back screen protector installed, and there aren't any issues with lifting the wrap or the screen protectors. The mute switch isn't easily accessible, though. I have to jam my fingernail inside the cut out in order to switch it back and forth. Only issue I have with the case so far, even though it's a small one.

I'm doing exactly what I told myself I wasn't going to do with the 4S, I keep buying cases. I thought I'd be content with just one, but I guess I should stop lying to myself. Picked up two more cases, a THS Skinny Bumper and a Caze ThinEdge. The THS is definitely skinny, so far one of my personal favorites.

Very nice looking. Can you point me in the direction for this bumper, and btw are there knock offs? Because I'd like to pick up the one you have here. Thanks man.

Well you've convinced me haha. I was gonna do the white but then figured that might make my phone look like an Oreo, so I'm going with the all black instead.

Here is the link for the 4S (and Verizon iPhone 4), and this one is for the AT&T iPhone 4. I've looked for knock-offs on eBay but haven't seen anything even remotely similar.

what dock do you use to have your case fit inside the dock too?

Boston Rhett already provided a proper link, but you can also find it on Amazon as well. I personally don't know where you would be able to find a knock off, so I can't help you there. Sorry.

Awesome, when you receive the black case you'll have to post some pics and let us know what your impression of it is.

SPEEDwithJJ is absolutely correct, that is what's pictured. Out of all of the cases I've had between the 4 and the 4S, the only case that wouldn't fit into the Apple Universal Dock was the Element Vapor Pro. Every other case has worked fine with that particular dock.

Does the white skinny bumper turns yellow after awhile? Where did you buy it? Looks pretty good to me.

Case Review Part 2

Click the > arrow thingy above for Part 1

To continue my Iphone case setup pics, I had to quote myself from an earlier post as I can only post so many pics in a post. Here is the second round.

This case was recommended by another member (I think it was the seller cus these cases are UTTER GARBAGE!) Here is the ebay link so you know to avoid! http://www.ebay.ca/itm/320823298588?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
Heres the Meritline link for it for $2 plus free shipping!!!! http://www.meritline.com/iphone-4-4...?hq_e=el&hq_m=2383796&hq_l=65&hq_v=0058b40369

First is the white case, it does not have a lip on the front so you cannot lay this face down, thus whats the point of the design on the back? Also the chrome strip is raised so this will get scratched off within days of use.

And here is the black, also Garbage! it has an aluminum back cover over the plastic body. When I got it the aluminum back was lifting off the plastic. This also does not have a lay on table design. for the front. Thus the design on the back is totally useless unless someone sees it while your talking on it.

Here is the ZooGue I got that was "free" I got the black and white case and paid like $10 for shipping. I feel I overpaid!!! Not impressed, the case was bulging over the sleep button, so I had to use a utility knife to cut down the plastic inside the case, now its flush, but there is no tactile feel to it anymore. Not a bad case, but I would never had picked it up if it wasn't advertised as "FREE".

Here is a $2 case from Meritline.com, thats two dollars with shipping included. Its just like the INCASE that I reviewed in part 1, only diff is the $28 difference and the incase cracked where this one never, Things that make you go Hmmmmm. It does fit very very tight, the wrap dont help, but I think the fat white iphone is the problem.

Finally got the Magpul case. VERY HAPPY with it, like everyone else that has one, I think its the best so far. I loved my Incipio, the very first case I owned, and the Vapor Comp black ops is a great looking case, but the magpul is just so nice in the hand, offers protection, buttons have nice feel, it looks nice if you look closely. I think this is it for the Case Hunt for me. My wife will be releived also. This forum has pushed me to search out the best case, and I think I finally found it. Thank you MacRumors, but I shall be leaving now.

I think I was the one who suggested it ;).

But no, I'm not the seller. FWIW I stopped using the case too, but not because the chrome is peeling or there's no lay on the table design (I love No Lips design because it's easier to clean the front), but because the case is too damn heavy. I wish I have a scale to weigh it but it certainly feels a lot heavier compared to other cases.

I don't know what your talking about, WEIGHT? its plastic. There is no weight. For what I paid, I could have got a Magpul case that everyone is raving about. Oh well, if my nephew don't want them, their going straight in the garbage.

The back is aluminium. It may feel like plastic but it's real aluminium, and quite thick compared to normal cases. The sides are plastic. Read the item description.

Also if you're not happy just return the case. I found the seller to be quite accommodating. I asked them before I bought the case if I can return it if it has the camera flash problem. They said yes, no problem. Of course it depends on whether the postage is worth it. Here in Australia it costs $1.80 so it's worth it.

They may even ask you to just take a photo of the peeling chrome and not return the case, so give it a try.

Got my all black UCO Skinny Bumper yesterday from the HiShop. When they say skinny, they really mean it. There's zero lay-on-the-table, even negative if you have thicker skins and/or screen protectors. The cutout for the vibrate switch is really precise, and I have no trouble getting to it even though it's a little recessed. I really like the metal buttons, since they really retain the look of the original phone buttons. Plus, they're super responsive and have great feedback. I've had no issues with headphones, docking, or charging, but I only use the standard Apple cables that come with the phone. The only gripe I have is that because the bumper only comes up to, and not around, the phone's bezel, it's easy for dust to get between the bumper and the phone. But that's an easy fix. Overall, I really love this bumper, definitely one of my new favorites. I do wish it came in more colors, though.

Here's some extra pictures of the back that I didn't include yesterday, for those concerned about the clear/cloud back

I got this case last week and I love it. It's just grippy enough so I can pocket the phone without any issues, no lint problems, adds just enough thickness to the phone, which I like. Durable, lay on the table design. Fits like a glove. I am extremely happy with this case.

Just got my commuter and realized its a lint magnet. How long have you had yours? After breaking it in have you noticed less lint? Or does it not make a difference.

I have the made in Mexico black silicone, and mine really attracts lint. Not crazy bad though. However, I heard that the colors are Made in USA and are a different silicone.

The one thing that bugs me, if you're looking at the phone, on the top right, it is a little loose at that section. I may call Otterbox and get a replacement silicone piece.

Like a few others here, I'm currently using the Belkin Essential 050 in clear/blacktop on my white 4S w/ speck front and back screen protectors. I'm a big fan of TPU cases and loving this one so far. I'm coming from an Otterbox Defender so the thinness is definitely welcome. I feel I'm still getting adequate drop protection and a lay on the table design without sacrificing style. Here are my new setups

Starts with the Incase Pro Slider

Not too happy with the case mainly due to the way the bottom and top pieces line up. Also the case is a PITA to take off, thank god I have the lucky labs skin around the band or it would be scratched up already.
