Looking at the fake one in the pictures, I think I like the original pink binding more. It makes it look like it's older and has been used.
My setup: Just got done replacing the front and back glass and I'm currently rocking the Element Vapor Pro in black and red to match my glass

Why are these Vapor bumpers so popular? What's so special about them that makes them worth $150?
NOTHING. They're not even nice looking for that matter.
Some people just prefer to flush $150 down the toilet (for something that probably costs no more than $2 to produce)....but it's their money and they have every right to spend it on ugly looking cases if they prefer.

I have to say that it depends on "Viewpoint".
I used to have Clear Snap Case Style for my iPhone4 for 8 months. Total costs of them are around $100 for 2 PowerSupport Air Jacket - Clear, Incase Snap on - Clear and Incipio Feather - Clear. All of them have problem about cracking on case itself even if I didn't drop it.
I got my Vapor Pro for White Edition for $120.-, It was investment for me!!
where'd you get your replacement front and back glasses from? and would you recommend someone else to buy them? i'm looking to do the exact same thing.
Paid about £20 for my Vapor COMP white.

I bought the Vapor case because I like the way it looks, love the color, and I have the disposable income to spend on it (though I did get it cheaper than retail). Those are my reasons; can't speak to anyone else's.
Got them off amazon. Just search "iPhone front glass replacement" and it will pop up for you. I bought from "PacificToy" had them within a day with standard shipping, with all the parts and everything included. I would recommend it to others, it's pretty awesome. Only sketchy part is you have to take your phone pretty much completely apart when you apply the front glass, which replaces your LCD. overall, I'm really happy with it, I think it looks great!
Fair enough. I recently got the book book which was about $90 and the most expensive case I've ever gotten for my iPhone.
Ah. I really want to buy a fake vapor comp stealth in red/black but can't seem to find one!!
Like the others stated, I got mine from the dealers from the fake vapor pro thread. Specifically, I ordered through caseswill.
I could care less if it's fake or real.. The quality is still amazing. There's no way I would spend over half the cost of my whole iPhone on a case, others can form their own opinions.. I'm happy with my "fake" case.
The red tag looks different too, and the Gold detail on the spine is too bright.
The detail on my BookBook is very worn.
I think if there is a cut out for the volume buttons it's a fake.
