iPhone Post Your Custom Carrier Logos/Request One Thread

So awesome!!! Thanks a bunch! Now I must figure out how to add it to the phone. So to install these you just rename it to
Default_CARRIER_ATT(or your carrier)@2x.png (this one is in color/black)
FSO_CARRIER_ATT(or your carrier)@2x.png (this one is white)
and drop it into the .bundle file?

Yep. That's it. Make sure you back up the original png's just in case.

Another question.

A lot of people say to back up the files before overwriting it.

But I don't have a logo that shows up there now. (Do i need to enable it?)
So why backup the original file when there is nothing there to show up to begin with...


Am i wrong in thinking that way??

As a rule of thumb, it's always best to backup files you're going to overwrite, just in case something happens. Not required obviously but doesn't hurt to do it either. Within the Bell_ca bundle, there are two carrier images in there (It's a picture of the word Bell) but they're both non retina. My suggestion is that whenever you do insert new images into your folder, try putting both a standard image (.png) as well as a retina image (@2x) and see if that works for you.

Do I need to do anything else to "Turn On" the image?? Or it will just appear after a spring?

Nope. If it works, you'll know. Also, you don't need to respring either. If you want to see if the carrier logo changed or not, just put your phone in airplane mode, then take it out of airplane mode. If the changes worked, the new carrier logo should pop up immediately.

Any idea what bundle the .png files need to be dropped in if your on a Verizon iPhone? I don't see a Verizon_US.bundle folder.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys,

For those Mannschaft fans out there, I've attached the DfB crest icon (NOTE: both versions have the black, red, and yellow colors. I think it looks cool regardless of whether or not your at the homescreen or in an app. Enjoy.

An Update for people that were helping me with this....

So something very interesting happened today. I resprang my phone and it started in "SAFE MODE" and i could see the picture instead of the Carrier name. But once i restarted the phone to get out of safe mode, the picture was gone again....

Any one have an ideas what's happening there??

sounds like somethings overriding your carrier status defaults - do you have fakecarrier/MIM/etc installed at all?
Have you tried themeing it with winterboard?

I posted again to bump it up but nevermind that...

I do have Winterboard installed but don't have a theme installed. Just icons and background stuff. (Live Clock, Weather Icon, Bliss Live Weather HD, Notifier+).

I don't have Fakecarrier, MIM etc installed.
