Not what type of machine(s) they may own.I have a 2009 iMac hooked up to my hdtv I use almost exclusively in win 7 bootcamp for gaming and soemtiems netflix amazon movie streams. I have a newer Macbook Air that works better across the mini display port in terms ofr rsolutions thet git my tv but the specs in the iMac are better and it can play most modern indy games and platformers off steam and suchs.
