I have a 2009 iMac hooked up to my hdtv I use almost exclusively in win 7 bootcamp for gaming and soemtiems netflix amazon movie streams. I have a newer Macbook Air that works better across the mini display port in terms ofr rsolutions thet git my tv but the specs in the iMac are better and it can play most modern indy games and platformers off steam and suchs.

Okay. That's fine. But this post is generally for people to share a screenshot of their desktop. Not what type of machine(s) they may own.

The open road.... I kinda remember that, and want to keep remembering it! The weird thing is that I put it up to remind me that there is such a thing as freedom to hit the road, but the longer the coronavirus lockdowns continue, the more that desktop photo reminds me that there's nobody out there. I might pick something else pretty soon. Meanwhile gotta love how the road crew that painted the double yellow might have had a few doubles at lunch.

Open road even in the before times.jpg

check out these wallpaper ideas I created as patterns using mostly adobe capture my own designs and my iPad:

Looks awesome, but a bit pixelated on my 5K iMac :(
If you created it yourself, would it be very cumbersome to make it the resolution of the 5K screen?
Yes. It's raster based. Scaling it to that size would still prove to be a massive drop in quality.
