Yes, the dock is using that spaces via command line trick.

O noes, I was wondering where Stacks is! I’m a newbie to Macs, and I’m looking for some help finding my way around. I will check the Apple MBP user guide and the macOS Sequoia user guide, but I’m still not sure where the Stacks is.
