I finally got menu bar graphics working properly without macOS getting super uptight about it. Luckily I got hints for that.

I will never ever forget the day that I first saw a Mac running system 10 "Aqua".
Had an appointment with an Architecture photographer and couldn't believe what I saw, while I was still on System 9.

I really miss aqua, loved the scrollbar ribbles.

I think of all the aqua themes - Jaguar had the edge.

Yes, the first version may have been a bit too "lickable", while the brushed metal in later versions wasn't to my liking.

you enable show recent items in dock settings.

Going for the Mac OS X aesthetic. Used to an app called Old Menu Bar on the Mac App Store to give the menu bar a shadow and gradient like old OS X and installed Music Miniplayer by Mario Guzman to add the old iTunes mini player.

Coming sooner or later - Dark Mode is complete for the regular Aqua.. this brushed version is just an alternate version. The Menu bar is having a hard time.

The widgets normally show my Files (like pseudo-desktop file and folder icons), my email, and some other sensitive information, so I hid them for the photo.
