Welcome to December! Found this photo as I was cycling through various nature wallpapers in Irvue.
 
RIP Pixelmator Classic

I'm gutted - no longer supported by Pixelmator.
I have Pro but I just love the interface of classic, being a long time Photoshop thing.
I find the Pro interface difficult - probably because I'm an old git.
Some warning would have been nice, since I paid for it.
I can get it to work after a fashion but it's a pain zooming and saving.

Grrrr.

Did you already explore the Customize Workspace option?
Perhaps you can mimic the Classic one.
