Keep the desktop clean except for temp working files, mounted servers, VM drives, etc., turned on the dock to take the screenshot but I keep it hidden. A few custom “iOS7 style” icons for major apps, a number of services running [in the menubar]. Pretty standard otherwise :)

There is nothing wrong with a good PC you mean ;) there are many things wrong with Windows

Strongly disagree but whatever. I use Windows 7 extensively on a daily basis on multiple machines with zero problems whatsoever. Solid OS. I realize this is a Mac site but there are a few of us who use Windows as well. And personally I get good results from it. :D

It works just as well as os x if you know how to use it.
