The glass look admittedly doesn't do much for me at first glance, but I know how Apple's design choices tend to grow on me over time and so I'm sure this won't be much different.
I really ike your configuration though, looks super clean.

My macOS Tahoe VM, been trying out some wallpapers, I am sticking with this one for now,

Probably my favorite default macOS wallpaper in years! Really evokes OS X Tiger or Panther. The clear icons and widgets are also incredibly sleek and is a great step away from the flat design we've been accustomed to.
It it me or is the default wallpaper absolutely stunning for this year's MacOS release?
I really like it too. I hope someone can extract that so those of us who don't have macOS (yet) can use it.

Just picked up an M2 Air to replace the one I lost a year and a half ago, only this one has 16GB memory instead of 8 and it's Starlight which is what I wanted but wasn't available last time around (I bought it sealed but second hand so I took what I could get). Nice to be back on the M series chips.
Thanks! Still got the iMac kicking around for an Intel machine but it's amazing how much you get used to waiting for things to happen on older OCLP Macs. It's amazing that it works at all but my Air 7,2 was really feeling its age and I finally came across the configuration I wanted in the wild. 🧡
I totally see the Tiger resemblance. I wasn't so sure about the monochromatic singular colour choice, but with the glass icons it's gorgeous. How are you finding it after a week or so? I'm looking forward to testing it out but I'm a little weirded out by the disappearance of the border of the menu bar. Does the system darken the space under the menu to compensate for that?
