I'll probably keep this for the next 2 months
I'd use a snap of our first snowfall of the season but at the moment I'm too demoralized to go take the picture... it's a tad early for snow to stick, gee... and the low for tonight is forecast to be 9 degrees. Locally our low usually ends up six or eight degrees lower than that. Maybe I'll put up a snap of a pile of thermal blankets. Off to find them, and the guy who puts on my storm windows! Meanwhile I'm sticking with my October desktop and so the memory of nasturtiums who finally bit the dust the other night when it got down to 19. Throwing plastic over them wasn't going to cut it, and I didn't feel like dragging a windowbox into the kitchen.
