Mine's in STEREO.
I'm using the excellent IINA video player. Stilli in beta, but already vastly superior to VLC.
Boom 2 is set as my audio output. This app improves the Mac's sound tenfold.
The audio meters are an app called Aura. Very expensive, but pretty cool for audio freaks and pros.
