LOL, yeah thats the 23". It's convenient, but I don't always have the full LS app running.

Nine displays…wanted a monitor specifically for Finder windows that isn't far away.
I have one port left for a total of 10 displays, but no idea where another one would go and for what at this point.

I’d make monitor 10 a big digital clock so I can see the time from 30 feet away. I’d call it my Judgement day clock 😄

Desktop Early Intels.
Left hand Mini, 2012, running OCLP Sequoia.
Right hand Mini 2011 Server, running MX Linux 23.6.
Under the power strip below left is a Haswell-based Windows machine.
On the drop shelf to the right is an A1355 Time Capsule 3rd gen, retrofitted with a 4TB drive. This backs up the LH Mini and a 2013 MBA 11".
All three machines use the same Eizo SX2462W monitor, the same iClever IC-BK10 Bluetooth keyboard, and individual mice. The Windows machine uses a Microsoft wireless USB mouse, the Minis use Magic Mice. These now work well in MX, although like all Linux distros using the blueman BT front end, they can be a pain to get connected to any BT peripheral. This applies to standard PCs too, not just Apple hardware.
A close inspection reveals my appalling cable management, which is due to be addressed soon. Honest.
My Mac Pro 2,1 an original version as shipped from Apple in 2007. Upgraded RAM to 24GB and the graphics card to an X1900XT. I am focusing more creative energy on local offline projects for myself. Mini DV “Home movies” like people used to make. After I fell out of the profession of recording video and started working with my hands; I think I’m enjoying creating again. There’s no better operating system that captures my childhood than 10.6.8 Long live the leopards!
I would put my cable management (on the floor, underneath my desks towards the back) against anyone's and LOSE every time!
I try to just not look whenever I'm back there. It's a literal sea of wires and plugs.
My oldest Intel Mac is a 2008 Mac Pro. Also have 2010 Polycarbonate Macbook, and 2010 iMac. Newest one is a 2012 Mac Pro.
It's always bothered me that the 2010 Macbook is supported all the way to High Sierra, while the 2008 Mac Pro loses support after El Capitan, despite being a more powerful machine. There is literally zero reason why the 2008 Mac Pro shouldn't have been supported under High Sierra, and possibly even Mojave with an appropriate graphics card.
It's always bothered me that the 2010 Macbook is supported all the way to High Sierra, while the 2008 Mac Pro loses support after El Capitan, despite being a more powerful machine. There is literally zero reason why the 2008 Mac Pro shouldn't have been supported under High Sierra, and possibly even Mojave with an appropriate graphics card.

I have expanded my collection. Let's start with part 1.
It's an Apple MacBook 5.1 Unibody 2008 that I recently bought on E-Bay. The hard drive was missing and the battery was dead.
After cleaning it, an SSD was installed and I bought a new original battery from E-Bay for a very good price and installed it.
MacOS 11 Big Sur is now running on the MacBook via OCLP. It's not a racing car, but it's fast enough.
Let's get to the facts:

It's an Apple MacBook 5.1 Unibody 2008 that I recently bought on E-Bay. The hard drive was missing and the battery was dead.
After cleaning it, an SSD was installed and I bought a new original battery from E-Bay for a very good price and installed it.

After cleaning and removing the dust, the rest was cleaned and the display was painstakingly freed from the staingate.
MacOS 15 Sequoia is now running on the MacBook via OCLP. Runs well and stable.

I like small laptops and really wanted this 12-inch MacBook. Unfortunately, it's still quite expensive in Germany. But I was lucky and bought it again on E-Bay for little money.
It is considered to be the worst MacBook ever produced. Well, it's really slow, but surfing, etc. works very well.
MacOS 15 Sequoia is now running on the MacBook via OCLP. Runs well and stable.

Note, that those two monitors on the bottom left and right have their wallpaper rotated so that it appears they are vertical. Due to my graphics issues with OCLP a few weeks back, I decided it would be better to just rotate wallpaper instead of the monitors in the Settings app.
Eventually I will get those two displays up and physically rotate them correctly but not today.

Mac Mini mid-2007 (2GHz, 2GB, 120GB) on SL and MBP mid-2007 (17" 1920x1200 matte, 2.4GHz, 2GB, 160GB) on El Capitan. Both only used for iTunes with external speaker(s). The MBP has its issues (rebooting at start up), but once running it's fine. Mac Mini with InterWeb for browsing.
Latest. Just more moving of the deck chairs.
Just wanted to say how much I love this Mac for its throwback to the PowerBook G4 12 case design. So cool
I will have to pick one up for my collection when the price is right
