I put in my order for a SG 1.3/256 version of the new rMB. I went with store pickup option which shows May 15th. Thought it would be interesting to get ETA's from OP who went with the 1.3 option. I wasn't in a big hurry for it until I played with the demo at BB. That short throw keyboard seems to really help my poor typing skills.

Additionally I just flew cross country in the new for 2015 Delta Airlines "economy" seats and my previously perfect size for airplane tray table 13" rMBP could not be opened past 45 degrees with the seat in front of me reclined. Thanks Delta!

May 6th-13th, and I ordered right when the store went online. I hear you on the flights, I can use my 13" rMBP on planes...but I definitely want something smaller. And I fly a lot.
 
I ordered mine about 3 hours after the orders opened. Delivers May 8-15. Space Gray, 1.3/512.

Edit: It's going to Florida.

Sucks that you'll get it later now because of that. Oh well. I'm sure shipping estimates will drop in a few weeks.

I wish I would have fallen in love with the gold yesterday when I first saw them. Space gray is very sharp. I'd prefer that and thus my computer will come later.
 
Ordered 4/17, 1.3/256 Silver, May 22-June 5. I am slightly behind everyone else- both due to indecision, and to allow for some initial reviews.

IT's funny because I have an Amazon Echo that I ordered months ago coming in around the same time. Anyone hazard a guess on which I'll get first?

I went with the exact same BTO with the exact same ETA.

I ordered online as soon as I found out that there was no stock in the Apple store. I also anticipated that in order to get the 1.3, I would likely have to order it anyway. But I was willing to go full option w/ 1.3 and 512 if it was available in store.

I'm hoping they ship sooner than predicted. Under promise, over deliver. Seems to be the Apple way.

Funny, I bought my first Mac (the 2011 MBA was the first version to sort of handle parallels, photoshop etc.) First flights I took I noticed the lid would not fit in the space left when you drop the tray table. Switched to a 13" rMBP and it was heaven. New for 2015 Delta is the new Spirit Air!

I guess you and I are going to need an 11" rMB next year! :eek:

I got up at 3am to order but at the time I had only planned an in store pick up - You know on release day, April 10th that wasnt release day. (TBH I was going to play with it and then return it as I just got a 2015 13" rMBP loaded) When I discovered that wasn't happening, I went back to bed but did a "what the heck" at about 10am. Now that I have played with one that new keyboard is just what my sloppy awful typing skills needed. I know its an overpriced netbook performance wise but that size is all sex! I'm going to ebay my rMBP when it arrives.
