Post your ETA for rMB 1.3 BTO

I ordered a SG 1.3/512 for store pickup on launch day at 3:20 eastern, and have a 5/15 pickup date. Interestingly my cc got charged for AppleCare today.

my wife and Daughter now have the base gold. Its not a good fit for male business professionals.

Based on first day orders, maybe mine will hit the Apple store a little before the 15th. last month my 2015 rMBP hit 4 days before the stated eta.

Additionally I just flew cross country in the new for 2015 Delta Airlines "economy" seats and my previously perfect size for airplane tray table 13" rMBP could not be opened past 45 degrees with the seat in front of me reclined. Thanks Delta!

May 21 from Apple. I am holding out for solid review(s) though. i am typing on a 1.1. I am "testing" from Best Buy. I am quite pleased with the 1.1. This is my favorite laptop after 2 days. I work on it and it is super.

What? Does the gold run slower or not perform as well at business tasks? Huh? I don't get it, could you please explain?

Seems like they were trying to say that the color gold is not a good fit in a professional environment. Which is not true.

I figured so much, in fact, with the commenter mentioning gold not being good for males specifically, I just wanted to hear him come out and say so with an actively sexist/stereotypical comment instead of the wily passive aggressive manner in which he made that insinuation :).

After you select one of the base models for checkout - you will reach the customization page which has the upgrade option and all the other accessories and add-ons listed.

Any dude with a minimal amount of swagger can pull off a gold rMB. If you don't think they can, then I think that says more about you.

I cancelled my gold 1.3GHz/512G in favor of a Space Gray 1.3GHz/512G. I will use my computer at work but my cancellation has nothing to do with worrying about what people think of my computer. I just guess I'd like the gold better but found out differently when I went to the Apple Store.

I should have ordered both colors immediately when order could be placed.

Swagger? I agree being an obnoxious Tork Job is the way to go and no, I can't make it work but good for you big feller.
