I know there are a lot of these threads of posting this or that. I figured this is a good thread to people who don't know what kind of monitor they want.

I will start:

I use the Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP, but it's late and I'm to tired to get my own picture, so a googled one will have to do! :)

I originally had a mini display to dvi then dvi to hdmi but I just switched to DVI to DVI am I going to lose any quality in the picture?

Samsung 220HD

22", 2 HMDI, Composite Input, DTV Tuner, 1080p for composite input (1050p computer resolution), DVI, D-Sub, HDCP support, Dolby Digital Surround, 5ms response.

It's fantastic. Got it a few weeks ago for $119 after rebate- I think that's a great price. I need to get a tv antenna for it though.

Gripes: little wobbly for my desk, would prefer 1080 computer resolution but I can live without, might be a little small to use for tvs or movies but it's nice to have it as an option.

TV above my desk is used (sometimes) as an external monitor.

So I take it Dell makes a pretty good monitor, since a lot of people are using it. I have a Samsung 37" series 5 LCD here, but I dont use it for my MB. I was thinking about it, but the TV is in the living room, and I have the MB in my room on a desk. So I think Im going to go with a Dell widescreen. I want the ACD, but I cant see myself spending that much money for display.

I think Dell uses Samsung displays, so I don't know how much of a difference that would be for you.

I'm using a 20" version of that, DVI on the iMac and VGA on the Macbook and Xbox 360.
Great display. Not had much reason to upgrade from it since I bought it years back.
