Betty Boop was first drawn by Max Fleischer in 1930.

She is considered the first cartoon sex symbol. Fleischer's animations were wonderful, and he is the inventer of rotoscope process...still used (e.g. "Sin City")

Second, my world stopped at 1:30pm when I was a child for Belle and Sebastian:

I won't get into the other obvious staples (Optimus Prime, Yakko, Wakko, Dot, etc.) because they've been covered. I will say that at least Thundercats, He-Man, She-Ra, and GI Joe get nods (hey, I was a kid!), it's hard to list what would be the favourite out of all of them. So they're all included.

Fast forward 20something years, when I got back into anime. The more violent ones didn't really appeal to me, Sailor Moon was meh, Ghost In the Shell was too deep for me to get into at that time, and to be honest, I preferred Miriya Sterling to both Lynn Minmei and Lisa Hayes. However, one show did stand out:

mostly watched tom and jerry, sylvester and tweetie, bugs bunny, foghorn ect when growing up.

my most disliked cartoon was woody woodpecker. ive always hated him for some reason.
