They are a black truffle, I believe a french truffle. You can get them all over the world. It is a fungus rolled in chocolate.

Pocky is sooooooo delicious, i only ever had it once in awhile, but yesterday i discovered my Target stocks it in the import food section for cheaper than anywhere else
