One of those babies.

Is that a handle to get it out of your pocket with?

No, that's a camera. On the first cameraphones you had to plug the camera in separately.

this is my frist cell phone Nokia 1100. This is a very good phone

I actually really like that phone. Never owned one, but I considered buying one a few years back just for the heck of it. I think the simplicity combined with the fairly eye pleasing design drew me to it.
Had the same.... Virgin Mobile. So awful. But for some reason I miss the old days. Lots of nights staying up late texting and calling girls under the blankets on that thing in 6th grade. :p
25 cents a minute, something like 10 cents a text; those were the days. I never had any friends to call or text, so it wasn't that big of a deal. :p

Hasn't even been booted up in close to ten years, and the bastard not only worked, but still had enough charge left in the battery too boot and make a 30 second call. With the origial battery, might I add.

Here's my first, a Kyocera/Qualcomm QCP2035, complete with the cheap leather-like pouch.

I guess I consider that my first phone, lol.

Is that a handle to get it out of your pocket with?

No, it's Motorola's first cell-phone breathalyzer. Prevents those embarrassing 3 a.m. drunk calls to your ex(es). :p

Funny thing is, the T720 was my second cell phone.

This was so long ago, I forgot what model it was... apparently my first was a Sony CM-M1300. I think I got it in 1998.

How did you get a prototype? I'm envious :D

That my friend, I cannot discuss :D But man that was an awesome phone. Glass accents were unheard of in those days along with glass LCDs and ball bearing sliders. It easily went for as much as gizmodo got their iphone 4 prototype. And now they go for as much as subsidized iPhones.

I would still buy one if they came out with a new successor like this one. Sometimes its nice to have a phone that just makes calls and texts while looking high tech.

My first was this one (I was 13)

I was jealous at everyone who had this one when it came out...
