For those of you that have your AVR's in a closed cabinet, do you experience any over heating issues, or even worry about?

Shopping for some new furniture and wondering if I should be looking for something that has an open front for better airflow.

I had an Onkyo that got extremely hot. I think as long as the rear of the cabinet is open you'll be ok. Some AV Receivers get hotter than others. My Denon doesn't get anywhere near as hot. The Onkyo was almost too hot to put your hand on.
 
I have an Onkyo now that gets pretty damn hot, like you said. Which was why I was a little worried.
 
I had mine for about 4 years and even though it got hot it was ok. As I say as long as it has ventilation behind it it should be ok.
