well I just checked like 8 different nations on Apple.com online store and it seems to be imminent! Most stores have slipped to 4days for any BTO option,

RAM in some nations is low in stock for 4GB but ready at 8GB but slow at 16GB.

US store still shows 1-3/ 2-4 pending, but they usually dip last.

All the time waiting , all the NDA's lifted, all parts in, WWDC logo screaming retina Macs, shipping times, stock low, prices slashed all point to next week.

This slippage helps alleviate earlier wonderings of what if they announce but won't release until July when ML is out ( * guess), but now it looks legit like theres no way were going to wait longer than the 11th keynote or 12th morning. worst case order later in the week or such but damn a long wait, looks to be the end. This week should be nice for rumors, stories, leaks etc.

EDIT:

What is to take note of/ cause debate is whether retina is coming to the iMac also or just mbp. I say this because in all the stores that the iMac shows 4days and or any slippage, the Macbook Pro is still shipping regular times. Thus there are a few scenarios:

1- iMac has no retina, and is coming this monday-friday week.
2- iMac has no retina, but maybe slightly res bump.. but is silent refresh during keynote or overnight.
3. iMac has retina, but is some how delayed anyway and will come during wwdc
4. Macbook Pro only has retina, will be showcased but is held back longer due to ML.

hmm.. iMacs are in bound, mbp should be too but how

At this stage, your guess is as good as any dude. But the general consensus is that the announcement of the new machine is more likely to be announced on the 11th than any other date we can conceive. I'm hoping that the announcement will promptly be followed by their immediate release, but that isn't necessarily a given. In any case, I think we can all agree that we will finally get our hands on this bad boy within the next few weeks!

There is a coople of scenarios more to continue your list:

5. MBP has retina, Ivy Brige and some other feuters will be showcased and deliverd at WWDC.
6. MBP has no retina nor the iMac even thouhg rumors clame that is likely, it's ongly rumors. Therefore neither will be showcased unless some other big feuter.
7. iMac has retina and will be released this week or at WWDC or the week after.
8. Worst case senario no iMac's before autum or at all. IOS 6, Itv OS, Mountin Lion and maybe MBP as the ongly hardwere at WWDC.

.... I can probably go on... but i will stop here! :apple: Please release the damn iMac's!!

If the new iMac is released at WWDC is it likely to be at the start or the end? At the keynote or at a separate event? I realise this is all speculation, but just wondering if you old pro's had any recollection from the last time hardware was unveiled at the conference?

Any time a hardware announcement has been part of the WWDC festivities (which - reminder - hasn't been too often), it's been during the keynote.

We have already noted 3-4 days is nothing to write home about. They fluctuate to this date.

Wake me when it says 5 or more :p

Checked many nations like the other day, globally is still showing slipped at 4days. Good sign. Wait is 1-7 days away

Hey captain buzzkill, when most any bto slips to 4daya for 90% of nations + all other factors, ill bet its time, that time is upon us

seems the apple store is going up/down every day now, probably apple preparing for wwdc, so get used the offline, doubt there will be any new products before next week anyway.

Shipping times for various nations went back to 1-3. /2-4 hmm. Odd. And Apple hasnt emailed customers of delayed purchased shipments

But reports are imac is imminent

Just to keep things real, let's not ignore the fact that the U.S. Apple Online Store right now has immediate stock on all base iMac configs and is either 1-3 day or 2-4 day on any CTO, which is completely normal. But we know the U.S. store is always the last to show any signs of refresh depletion, so all this tells us right now is that THIS WEEK isn't refresh week.
