They should be similar to the camera icons!

camera icon might be better but at least that is consistent with black/gray theme.

man, I hate the blue link and white background everywhere.

have to tweak, the text to be bold, change the back ground to black ...

you can see the creasy finger print on the white back ground all the time. in safari everything is links and blue on white back ground.

icons with similar color are grouped together. want the search to be back the left home screen.

I loved that wallpaper when I had iOS 7. Not the same with iOS 6. But its safe to say when iOS 7 is publicly released...I'll be switched wallpapers....alot

Looking at these posts of iOS homescreen shots always makes me think about how much effort and meticulous attention to detail Apple puts into everything but the homescreen. It's so busy with everything installed burfed up on the screen and/or kludged into folders to try and mitigate the hot messness that you can barely see the really cool backgrounds. I want to see what happens after the real launch.

As a non dev tester looking at these I still wish these icons looked less child like, less psychedelic. I like the feel of the OS, the simplicity and cleaness is great, exactly what apple is about but the icons... They just aren't even growing on me. Feels like fisher price.

There are plenty of vocal people on here but from what I've seen the non-techies seem to prefer iOS7 icons over iOS6 (mostly). So I don't think we'll be seeing any major changes to the icons in iOS7. Maybe iOS8.
