How did u get shadows behind all your icons?

You can do something similar with an app called, pimp your screen.

My lock screen is an homage to the original iPhone with the Clownfish wallpaper. For my home screen I use a plain black background. Black is supposed to save some battery power and it gives a clean, simple look. It also makes the screen appear larger.
