A bit boring, but my home and lock screen, I keep my primary screen minimal.
Apps that provide notifications stay in my dock so I can spot them on any screen (more of an issue pre-folders when i had 10 screens to flick though)
Critical apps not on my dock go on the corners (Safari and iPod, naturally)
lock screen is the Manchester Imperial War Museum took yesterday and the home screen I keep a simple image behind as not to conflict too much with icons, or just remain black. I was previously using the Aqua Graphite desktop picture on my home screen pic too, which always makes it feel mac-like.
I started with a photo I took at the wildlife refuge near Aransas Pass, Texas. We saw well over a hundred Whooping Cranes that day and this was one of my favorites.
This male was beginning to show breeding plumage. He stands six and a half feet high and has a wingspan of six feet.
