Thank the Soviet Union as well.

The Red Army absolutely crushed the Germans on the Eastern Front, driving them from the Volga River all the way back to Berlin - which the Soviets ultimately took. Not the Americans. The American War effort was nothing less that crucial in defeating Hitler, yes - but they did not win the war singlehandedly. Far from it. "Learning all history" should really mean learning all history.

The kid should know Iwo Jima though.

Didn't exactly crush them outright, they won through sheer numbers, attrition and determination. But yes, a few americans should know that it wasn't them who won the war alone :)

I like it. Looks clean and have all the apps I really use on the first page, bar all my games. No folders on the first page as they look disgusting. :)

Found two off of the ipad wall paper thread.

First is my home screen..think it matches my black ipad 2 and black smart cover quite well, don't you? Makes me think of the interior upholstery of a high quality german car.

The second one doesn't get seen as often...it's used for my swipe screen.

Of course, Stalin deserves a big thank you for making the war possible in the first place...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molotov–Ribbentrop_Pact

If an image is noisy, I think a little blurring makes a world of difference for a homescreen, as it helps to make the icons stand out, as if they're on a glass window.
