I set mine to all black home screen yesterday but have not noticed any issues.
What, in particular, are you seeing?
seemed like it had to get used it for a little bit, so i changed it back. i noticed lag for the most part when i woke the phone up (i do not have the all black screen on my lock screen).

Most of us use the Tapatalk app, not sure if you're just using the mobile website or not. Tapatalk works very well for forum browsing on supported forums.

For those of you using that "blackout" wallpaper on your home screens: Does it make the widget view almost illegible? It looks fine when you swipe down to see notification center, and then swipe to see your widgets. But if you look at your widgets from your home screen, a lot of it is almost illegible due to the black text.
Yes, it's because iOS makes the background darker than your blurred wallpaper
Most people don't use pure black wallpapers so it's fine
