Whew, looks like the cutoff for 1-3 days vs 7-10 days for this model from Apple was sometime during 12:05 minute, as I see some others who bought at 12:05 and 12:06 for this exact model are at 7-10 days. I tried to buy earlier via the app, but got error messages twice so I switched over to the computer.

Yea considering us Brits got 7-10 business days from the start. Oh well at least we are able to order and if you got in their early then you wont have the dreaded "October" shipment status.

was so excited to wake up at 3:01 eastern time. went to bed at 12 and coudnt sleep. Finally slept and woke up at 4:30. ran to my computer which i had turned on when i went to sleep, ordered it and it said 7-10 days for processing. I am so dissapointed in myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Crap crap crap!!

I take 12920203 photos but very few videos. Also don't have too many games installed aside from the quick fixes (Angry Birds, Candy Crush, etc.).
Being Canadian and buying in US, I'm saving...I'm sad to say that Apple is banking $70 when in reality the dollar difference is about $25.
Prices at least in Canada should be same as US...however I have only seen them go up and up...Here in US I can get 16GB for $709 w/ tax, in Canada it starts at $719+ Tax = $812.xx for 16GB --- while same price in US will get you 32GB.
Those that are buying across the border can save $100+ easily right off the bat because of tax and apple price difference...
Purchased 16gb silver through T-Mobile site with expedited shipping. Ships today and arrives Monday.
Have alternate order of 32gb through apple but has 7 to 10 day window.... Will keep whichever ships first but unless apple has a surprising change soon for me looks like it'll be t-mo.
UPDATED: I had to talk to a T-Mo rep to fix a problem with my shipping address and while chatting she confirmed orders were going to be going out today and mine would arrive Monday, so I did go-ahead and cancel the Apple order. Oh, and my credit card has already been charged.

Easy, my family picture library is like 80gb. Yay for high res pictures and 1080p videos and random junk going back 10 years.
Honestly though, I don't need any of that on my phone. I don't have anywhere near enough music to fill up a 16gb phone either, as silly as that sounds XD
Just based on this thread alone, it seems nobody's going for the 5c right now. Hopefully, they'll be readily available later today.
My card has been charged as well. It shows up as a pending transaction until being shipped but puts a hold on the cash.

first impression: the colour of the back and the rim is very shiny, not like those of iPhone 5. I'd call it 'dark silver' rather than 'space grey' as officially put.

I think that main reason for that is b.c if you wanted a 5C you could have pre-ordered a week ago.
Ordered a Silver 32 GB AT&T through Apple finally at 4am after starting the process at 3:01 am! 1-3 days to ship! Took forever though because stupid AT&T won't use our physical street address only P.O. boxes in our area! Had to go to the AT&T website and change my address to my work address to finally be able to place the order online though Apple! Phew!!! To much thinking at 3am!
