I get my iphone tomorrow but in the meantime here are some wallpapers I knocked up:

How come none of my images are showing up?

I know HTML, <img src="http://www.abcdefg.jpg"> But only the links show; not the actual images. Does anyone know why?

I even tried copy and pasting the code for images from people that have already posted on this thread, and the links show but not the images. Why???

Because you're on a forum and forums use tags, not HTML tags.

Where will these wallposters show up on the iPhone? Only when "Slide to side" or the back of all the icons on the mailscreen?

Only on the power-on/unlock screen, and when using phone functions (other than the numpad).

The Slide to Unlock slider is the same size/shape as the pair of buttons down there during a call, and the clock on the power-on screen is the same size as the caller ID area. So you can make wallpapers that fit those shapes.

I plan to make one in the style of the new Battlestar Galactica computer displays. No text, just DRADIS images and a colonial seal, in bright glowing lines.

I might do an even more abstract one, like the Cylon computers:
