That clock is awesome. Where can I get it?

Can you by any chance pm me to let me know how I might do the same setup? I'd love to open the weather app by pressing on the weather. I'd also love to have pretty backgrounds, like yours, behind the time and date. I hate to bother everyone else with basic questions like this!

~~ Liza

Go into Cydia and find an app called iBlank and the winterboard theme that goes along with it called No Icon Shadows - iBlank. Open iBlank and add 3 blanks to your springboard. Arrange the three blanks and weather app in the correct spots.

Next I used OpenSSH to access the files then went to var/stash/Theme.xxxxx then opened my theme which is Black UPS Darkened HD. Next go to the Bundles folder and find the weather app, back up the icon.png and/or icon@2x .png (no space) files then delete them. Upload a transparent imagine and rename the folder icon@2x .png (no space). If you don't want to add it to a style go to var/stash/applications and do the same process as above.

I'm not sure how to delete individual app names (if anyone can help with that please post it or let me know) so I downloaded "Transparent Icon Labels" from Cydia and use that to hide the name.

EDIT: I searched and found out how to change the icon label. PlanetRed explained it, "I used iFile and navigated to /private/var/stash/Applications/InsertAppHere. Then opened Info.plist and under the key "CFBundleDisplayName" changed the string from the app name displayed to blank. Only problem was apple native apps like Mail, Safari, Phone, etc I had to change the Display Name in Info.plist as well as in /private/var/stash/Applications/InsertAppHere/English.lproj there is a file located there named InfoPlist.strings (for example) just replace the app display name with blank."

Mac, would you mind sharing your wallpaper?

Finally got around to jailbreaking my 4.1 3G. The dock is there, but I made transparent icons for Mail, Messages, and Phone. I set iPod to the double-click of the Home button. There's another page of apps and my sbsettings dock is filled as well. About the only thing I would like to do would be to switch the system font tot he same one used by the lockscreen, but I just haven't gotten around to doing that yet.

its obvious that the posters of that clock and theme everybody wants does not want to share.

lol like they need to feed their e-ego:rolleyes:

although your username is quite ironic in this example, that's not a good way to encourage them to share.

if they wanted to share, they would have.

they obviously just want to show off, gather as many "what's the name of that?", "can you share?" and sit behind their macs with a smile on their face. lol

sharing mine lovely little homescreen!

Lockscreen: Typophone 4 with modded thin slider
Homescren: Tons of iblanks and video background (idea from strodda member) and some custom icons for quikstart (most used apps) and menu (for the rest) using categoriesSB.
Modded calendar and apple weather to remove background and change fonts. apple weather is modded with weathericon and matte weathericon theme.

that's all folks! minimalist and user-friendly :)

Believe it or not, but some people don't check these forums every few hours (minutes?) to see the latest goings-on.

I do, because I have a hollow and empty life that I try in vain to fill with electronic trinkets, but from what I've been led to believe, other find fulfillment with family, work, and friends.

Me - It's gadgets, alcohol, and Belle & Sebastian.
