given the background splits in half when opening a folder...how are you going to combat that?

There are plenty of theme options on macthemes but they just change the black to a different texture/colour!

Two possible ways:

I'm gonna make it transparent. And wI'll use the fact the Asian girls are so sexy the can cause optical illusions


Or. Instead of making it transparent I'll just throw a pic of a second Asian goddess in there and use that as my folder background

You'll see that on the second image, there's a transition happening. My lockscreen transitions between 13 different images that I identified and configured for that purpose. It also completely blocks out the battery charge, which I don't mind at all.

Still want to edit a few other things (like the 3G image), and I want to get rid of the dreaded black background that comes up with WeatherFurik (the curse of using a customized background, instead of the supplied one).

No prob.. Sorry if it sounded harsh, I didn't mean it that way.

I would get both Lockinfo and Notifier. Both are useful, yet each has it's own use. As far as Lockinfo bocking your screen, it just depends how much of info you'll choose to display at all times and if you're gonna use collapsed by default option.. You might need to tweak bar background and wallpaper. See the pic below, to me it doesn't seem like LI is blocking wallpaper..

Here's what I want to know: What's the name of the theme to make the signal strength indicator look like that? And what's the little icon in the top task bar next to AT&T (all the way on the right)?

That unlock bar is part of Glasklart (theme), not lockms.

If u are familiar with web apps, it's called glyphboard, I'm pretty sure the apple one is in there. I have saved a bunch in a file and have copied them below.

For Glyphboard, navigate to this url on your iphone:

Once there, select the "add to homescreen" from the iphone menu. gotot he home screen and click on the glyphboard icon. It will open and give you a bunch of Glyphs that you can copy and paste into messages and folder names and even your carrier name.
