Congrats on the turntable :D

I got an ION USB turntable for Christmas '08, and it was a total surprise! I don't know why I never thought to ask for one. I guess I always thought they were too expensive.

So far, I've been collecting some '08 and '09 albums that I feel are particularly-good candidates for vinyl, which mainly means laid-back stuff like Fleet Foxes, Sigur Rós, The New Pornographers, Camera Obscura, Wilco. But some that are more fun, too, like MGMT, Beck, Arcade Fire. I'd love to get some Beatles albums, too!

Sure, it's this one.

Comes with software for importing vinyl to mp3. It's also portable. Comes with it's own hard cover and takes batteries so that you don't have to take the power cord along.

Modern Guilt was certainly made for vinyl. Is that In Rainbows two heavy-guage vinyls like the discbox? It sounds so great.

Having used both I prefer Pandora. Check it out, you can sign up for free (you just get ads and are limited to 40 hours per month).

Probably my favourite Beck album.

Yeah it's double LP. Annoying its 45rpm rather than 33rpm as to change it I have to remove the platter from my turntable. Oh well.

Oh, that sucks. I just flip a switch on mine. The only annoying thing for me is that, of course, it only has two or three tracks per side, which means a lot of flipping and changing. I supposed we're spoiled by digital music.
 
Finally ordered a legitimate Applecare plan from Smalldog. Too bad the money I spent for one off ebay back in February 09 was lost because of a scummy seller.

This time I made sure with Apple that Smalldog is a legitimate Apple Certified Reseller.

I would have saved money going with full price from Apple to begin with (stupid ebay scam).

eBay sucks..i never buy from them Amazon is much better !!!

iPod Touch 64G

I had to get a 64G version of the iPod Touch. My 32 G iPod Touch has run out of space... Now I can store lots of podcasts along with my music collection in one unit and marry it with my car's nav/audio via bluetooth.

These arrived today off eBay, they sound pretty good so far but probably not worth the €180 price tag they have in Ireland but thanks to eBay they were only €115 so don't feel to hard done by if i had payed full price for them on the Apple Store

Bayonetta...

I preordered it so was supposed to get a bonus with it but they haven't had the delivery in yet so will have to go back another day.

Ordered a MCE remote for my Acer Revo XBMC box. I've yet to figure out all the customization that little thing can do!
