Not sure that's going to be a good alternative to the headphone jack. It says it's a "line out" jack. Low volume possibly no volume control with it. Unless you have headphones with a built in amp and volume control. Let us know how it turns out anyway.

That's exciting! Are you using it as a desktop or a monitor for the Macbook Pro?

mainly a Desktop, I am on my computer 24/7, got tired of having to charge my MBP or worrying about my battery. I do plan on getting the thunderbolt cable soon though and trying it out as a monitor also. This thing is simply amazing! been dying for one.

12's? I assume you tune down a bit, to what?

It's in standard drop D well as low as my PRS will allow. I use Andreas kissers Tuning it sounds amazing.
