Great deal for me

Great deal for me
Got myself new running shoes. Roughly a mile on them so far.

Finally got a pair of Flyknits, because spencers made me jealous.
I asked that guy what the deal with them is but he has not answered. What's the deal with the shoes? Are they rare? He said something about eBay and finally getting them, so I was curious.
I have a pair of those shoes too... definitely not meant for running. Even though they're called Roshe Run, they were really meant to be casual shoes.
Personally not into the neons but they are pretty popular.

Flyknits aren't rare; certain colors are just sold out/hard to find.

Oh I missed that. I just like them. But they are on the rare side. Not gonna run in them or anything. Just gym and maybe bike.
My recent purchase: this iPhone mount for my bike!

In all honesty, this was a lot of great information. I have terribly flat and wide feet and I think you may have been around for my ongoing rant about shoes. Finally figuring out that if I buy from the Nike, Reebok, etc, stores, I can return after using them, I gambled on Nike Free Runs. Someone on twitter asked some silly question, probably joking, but a good question about how I feel barefooted. Aside from disgusted (the things that happen on pavement) I said I walked well barefooted. Ergo, Nike Frees. I haven't looked back. The biggest bummer is I have to order them from Nike's site and do the whole Nike ID thing because I need wide women's in a size that stores don't carry (big), so I have to wait for those poor little kids to make them in China. (sorry kids)wikiSHOES
It's all good. I was truly curious. I see those awful Jordans going for hundreds above MSRP and people linking up to get them, but I hadn't really seen that with running shoes.Oh I missed that. Bottom line is that while they aren't without a small flaw (not counting time to get and price), they are the first shoe I've been able to stick with in my adult years. Foot pain is by far one of the worst pains because if my feet hurt then I give up on moving. I can bike and walk with a headache, swollen shoulders, back pain, but foot pain levels me.

Sorry for the wall-o-text folks.I'd like to showcase my last purchase but it was nothing more than a can-o-paint so I can continue the ongoing repairs from the Great Pipe Burst of 2013.
Yeah, Frees are supposed to mimic barefoot (and make it better). I'm not that comfortable in bare feet. Even my flip flops I wear regularly have a bit of an arch in them.
All this talk about shoes and working out and seeing spencers' bike made me want to go for a bike ride.. weeee

I thought they were Nike Free's until I read your post and looked up Roshe Run shoes. Yeah, those definitely don't look like they'd be comfortable to run in. That sole looks super cushiony (not in the good running shoe cushiony kind of way). Are they comfortable? How do they compare to other soles (free's and lunar series, specifically)? That is, if you have worn those shoes to be able to compare..
I see you got the new grips!
Do you plan on using headphones in your phone when you have your phone mounted?
Looks more dodgy than the last one. Let's hope Shrink doesn't see it again!
And I think we ALL prefer Tennant to Smith!
