i say if you can't afford the real thing either save some more or buy something else, don't make some leech who's too uninspired to come up with his own designs rich by buying his crap

I like the design, but don't have £2,500 to spend on a chair. I know it's a fake, of course it's a fake -- I'm not fooling myself into anything. Even if I did have the money, I wouldn't buy it as I just don't place that kind of value on a chair.

Almost every chair you but now is inspired buy one of the Eames' designs, so it's pointless saying one should buy an 'original' design, as that's almost meaningless.

Just my view.

Logitech wireless mouse M510

I'm not finding this mouse comfortable in my hand. I might need to send this back.

You might try the Logitech Performance MX. It's comfortable and very nice. I have one for each of my computers.

It's a chair... I'm sure as hell not spending over 2 grand on one let alone over 4 grand for the two I need. Your view is cute though.

maybe you just shouldn't insist on wanting a $2,000 chair model if you can't afford one though

there's cheaper furniture out there that may better fit your budget

I know you said "not to be a dick" but i'm just throwing it out there to let you know that it didn't work.

My last purchase was 2 tickets to see Arcade Fire at Consol Energy Center here in Pittsburgh in March

Personally I find it too large for my hand, but I use it at work. I like the VX Revolution as my favorite mouse, and then the MX anywhere as a close second.


My Last Purchase - wasn't mine really - fiance bought us lunch at a pop up restaurant in Harbor East Baltimore. Had this yummy beer.

too late….you just come off as elitist and swarmy…. So what if it is a knockoff? How does that hurt you in any way shape or form? so Levi Strauss invented blues jeans. They have patents….do you wear jeans? Are they Levi jeans? then you are wearing knockoffs…….

you should read up on intellectual property law and how it works

especially when it comes to exact 1:1 copies of (iconic, in this case) designs

to be clear, i don't give a rats peehole what the guy buys or doesn't buy, i was merely pointing out that there's options for every budget out there

As he/she stated in the original post, it's a replica. I don't think OP was trying to pass it off as the genuine article :confused: Sooo...being a dick: accomplished. Fact is, the replica is probably about as good as the original, with the original apparently being $2,000 ($2,000?! it's a friggin' desk chair) because it's got the name, just like so many other things in life.

Anyway, my most recent purchase...probably a rip-off of some other beer
