I was going to wait for the iPhone 6, but found an iPhone 5S for a good price and couldn't resist! Coming from a 4S, this is an amazing phone. My preferred choice was Space Gray, but gold isn't actually bad - as a matter of fact I'm starting to like it a lot!

I also got an Apple leather case in brown. It looks great (for now) and the fit/feel is great! (This is not my photo however..)

Spent the day working on my survival tin and and my urban survival kit. Here is my tin. Pretty happy with it just a couple more things to add. I'll be working on a more couple kits for my family members. Just about everything was purchased at a dollar store except for the altoids tin.

Just need to get a decent mirror.








I also picked up this combo whistle/compass/thermometer/magnifying glass from walmart for $3. I wanted to get a little button compass and glass for my kit, but I would have had to spend more for the different pieces than for the combination. I wanted to really spend little to no money on this kit, so I just went for this little contraption.

 
Picked up a Nook Simple Touch because I'm getting back into reading again. Reading on an iPad is starting to hurt my eyes and I now understand the value of e-ink!

6' Amazon Lightning cable for my iPhone 5. I was going to stick with my HTC One until the iPhone 6 came out, but I just couldn't wait that much longer. I missed iOS too much. lol. :D :apple:

I have the same color combination! It looks great, imo. The gold ring matches the "gold brown" leather the best out of all the color options of the Apple case. :)

The North Face was having a sale. The winter jacket looks like my last one, which was from college, almost 10 years ago. Hope this one last long as well. If you can't tell I like black.

It's been a cold winter so far-- this is a good investment!

Looks good. Why a mirror If the zombies do come, I don't think people will mind if your hair is out of place, that or your into some illegal substance :p (which I hope not)
You could try disassembling a cosmetic case thingy.

Only been on it about 7 hours, already side loaded a few apps from my Galaxy SIII that I needed for work. This might work out OK. Just waiting for the official release of 10.2 now for it.
