After about 7 visits in the Apple Store, multiple hours of watching YouTube videos and reviews, and trying to hold out for my birthday at the end of the month....I caved :)

Whhhhhaaaattt!? 44$!?!?! Link please ? I might get a pair. How do they sound. Was never a fan of JBL but for that price it's a steal

It's now $59.99 at newegg.com The link is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16886110015

After owning these for a couple of days, I noticed the rear port had annoying resonance making the speakers sounding a bit boxy. What I did was I stuffed some foam in the rear port. I also added Velodyne SPL 800 subwoofer and a Parasound Zamp power amp (45 watts RMS per channel) to the mix. Now it sounds kickass, with no annoying resonance. That being said, I still think it's still well worth the $59.99. BTW, the JBL's sound is better after about 15 hours of hard break-in..

I caved and upgrade my Paperwhite to the Kindle Voyage. One thing that bothered me about some Kindles previous to the Voyage was the recessed screen. The Voyage is flush with the bezel and has a glass screen for a nicer touch. Initially when they came out I thought that the page press buttons would be too distracting but I don't think they are now.

Loved my paper white and looking forward to the iPad pro and reading on that. Thought it would be too big but it's balanced very well and feels great in the hand.

Yeah I've read on the iPad Pro also and the weight isn't too bad but obviously no good for commute reading. Also, as with any reading device that's not e-ink with matte screen, finger prints are a big issue even in doors.

Some more Shaws and Gallants, a 2010 film with Lieung Siu Lung and Chan Wai Man (they of the awesome Broken Oath.)

I was delighted to discover Ghosts Galore had the Chinese Good wizard vs. Japanese bad wizard climax that was so much fun. It's like the extended magical battle I always wished Lo Pan and Egg Shen would have at had in the wedding fight in Big Trouble in Little China. Love the evil Origami cranes too.

I upgraded from the first gen. Paperwhite to the Voyage about 6 months ago. I really like the physical page buttons and glass display. It's also noticeably smaller and lighter than the PW. Happy reading! :)
