What area are you in if you dont mind sharing or you can PM me? I think it also has to do with the area and price including the bells and whistles of course. We have a good enough sized yard so nothing too fancy but would love the look out there and enjoying it on football saturdays.

I’m in so cal. My pool buddy lives in TX. His costs are obviously cheaper, but he will me actual costs so you can see the amount of markup and how much actual labor. I can also pass you along to the people that re did our pool if you’re in LA. They weren’t the cheapest, but prompt, professional and on budget.

I am in Texas as well so he sounds like a great resource!

My whopping Prime Day haul...

Evidently Flickr is being a pain again...

$40 for the $50 iTunes card
$25 for a new mouse.
$25 for the small document shredder not pictured.

Yep, broke the bank this year! ;)

I bought off craiglist a PowerMac G5 and a 2008 Mac Pro, with wireless keyboard and mouse, for $80 total. I don't know what I'm going to do with them; I don't have a monitor that supports DVI. I'll probably get rid of the PowerMac G5 as I have no use for it, but the Mac Pro I might work on getting setup to play around with. Do they make a video card that supports HDMI for the 2008 Mac Pro? I would hook it up to my tv that way.

I didn't go to San Diego Comic Con this year, but still wanted a souvenir of sorts.

Ordered a Disney/Marvel pin from the con off of Ebay. Since Disney/Marvel does the "blind box" approach to pins now, collectors/speculators buy en masse, and try to dump the extra pins they don't want or need. Which means if you aren't looking for the most sought after items you can get a pin at a very cheap price.

So I have my first Disney pin, to slap on my sling bag.

Wow! $3,500 for a laptop.

Enjoy! :)
Thank You General,
It was over $4,000 with AppleCare and Taxes.
I still have to struggle a bit when making purchases for myself and this one took almost a month of saying "Yes, you're worth it." Before I would even do it.

It is the first laptop I have purchased personally since the retina 12" MacBook was launched, I think in 2015.
For personal I always had the Air or regular MacBook.
For work I have a 15" Pro but there is a difference and a feeling when you are able to get something you enjoy for yourself, that isn't tied to anything else. It is completely, utterly, 100% your own.
