Bingo. I started my mortgage a month or two before the 2008 financial crisis so interest rates plummeted, but I continued to pay the same high rate by choice, and ended up paying off the 30-year mortgage in 9 years. Overpaying really does add up!

Massively so. The only trouble is with low interest rates, you don’t get much on your savings when you are done!

A brief update.

Connected to the iPhone and landline it functions well. A pc test will come later.

Switching between landline and iPhone works simply and nicely.

The call and voice quality are good. Not much different than my wired Plantronics headset.

The noise canceling quality is not in the same universe as Bose, but it’s noticeable and acceptable.

The sound quality streaming music is a bit disappointing but tolerable. Like the noise reduction, the music reproduction quality isn’t in the same universe as Bose or the AirPods. Streaming music is a welcome convenience so I’ll get used to it.

After originally syncing the iPhone to the base it reconnects simply by pressing a button on the base station.

The headset range exceeds my needs.

Assuming it’s durable, then at $250 it’s an okay purchase.
At $400, no.

The power here has become increasingly unreliable of late. Testing the quality with a little 10w model. If it seems ok I’ll order some more/bigger ones from the same place.
 
Got a little carried away at GameStop last night after work... 30 hours of OT, gotta treat myself, lol.

4 games for US$99.

I probably shouldn't had, but I bought the Zeiss Batis 135mm 2.8 Lens for my Sony Alpha cameras. I know Sony & Sigma have come out with 135mm 1.8 Lenses, but I just like the weight of Batis Lenses and the picture quality. I know this isn't the greatest picture as I was just fooling around with it tonight.



I plan on carrying Batis 135mm lens instead of my Sony 100-400mm lens when I go for nature walks as it will be lighter to carry.
