does it have mechanical switches/buckling springs or had they already switched to membrane by the time that one was produced?

This is a well used membrane keyboard and it feels like it. No resemblance at all to modern mechanical gaming keyboards, or vintage model Ms or Fs etc. Pop was using one when they were new around the turn of the century hooked up to an old P2 voodoo3 box. I recall visiting back in 2000 and using it.

A new "bench top" style oven because the one we have decided to crap out the day before Turkey day (which isn't really turkey day because there's no damn turkeys here)... let's see if this one lasts longer than ~ 2 years.

Yes, we have considered a 'normal' freestanding oven/cooktop, but I can't even imagine trying to get one installed properly - i.e. where it's unlikely to kill someone at some point - here, when most "electrician"s first question seems to be "Why are there three wires?".

I have a regular oven but table top toaster ovens are such a handy appliance & efficient when you consider not having to heat up the big oven everytime you want to bake say A pizza for instance.

In the summer heat, these are the difference between A stupidly hot house & A comfortable house in the middle July.

That and as you stated, they’re easy to handle & transport. I absolutely believe two toaster ovens stacked are much more productive & useful than one big regular sized oven.

Santa has been good to me, I usually don't spend $$ on me, in one sitting, but I got a nice extra-wide monitor at the beginning of December, and a Core X Chroma and RTX 2060 Super GPU for my laptop.

The speed difference between my laptop's 1050-TI and the EGPU's RTX 2060 super is astounding

you should have gone with this if you want to have very fast video storage or upgrade internal storage:

Wow 9 to 5 does a great review....no banal cliches like “hands on”, “form factor“, “price point”. Just solid information.

Any recommendations on your favorites? Ive tried a couple and hated them. Looking to soften mine up and stop the stragglers.

Thanks
LB if you want strong hold. My favorites so far are 1912 and Original.
Detroit Grooming if you just want a really good butter. Not nearly as much hold though (butter vs balm).
BeardBrand is really expensive, but super good. Styling balm is balm, utility balm is their version of butter everyone else does.
Fresh Beards is good but doesn't use natural fragrance. Doesn't matter to me, but it does to some. (I love the 1920 balm/butter/oil)

Plenty of others, just the first few that come to mind.

Seemed like they listened and fixed the issues which needed fixing. And it's a decent upgrade from my Late 2016 13" MBP.

Apple, more updates like this going forward, please.

I just want more softness and less stragglers and to smell nice.
I’m a simple man :)

In order:
  1. A crazy sink wrench & adapters
  2. A few replacement Bosch masonry bits (only one pictured, they all look the same essentially)
  3. A couple of smaller Bosch Quick Change hole saws (only one pictured, they both look the same essentially)
  4. A Pan/Tilt/Zoom enabled IP camera
  5. A PoE splitter because aforementioned camera doesn't support POE
