Here's mine! Been that way for a while. I change background now and then, but never for more than a few hours. =P

Go to Sys Prefs and select Accounts, highlight your account and select Login items and add iCal using the + at the bottom.
Once it's there, check the box that says hide.
Next time you start up, iCal will boot up, hide itself and display the date.
So far, every desktop image you throw at leopard looks so good with the dock and semi-transparent menubar. I think I'll also be modifying the dock soon.

Can you post your version of the image? Or is that the one that is posted earlier at 1024x768?
I want one that is around 1440*900 or larger
i posted links to them, they are at the bottom of page 5 or 6 i forget which the widescreen one enlarges really nicely it looks just find at 1650x1050 on my 22" LCD

Thanks. Yeah, I was on a tour through NZ, and that was taken the morning after spending the night on a boat in Milford Sound.
I find that I am constantly changing my desktop pic since upgrading to Leopard.
I finally settled on one of the built-in images. Ooo, green!
And no, I don't know why I named one of my drive partitions "Janitorial Services."
