I think I'll wait till next year, iPhone isn't small enough.

Samsung sch-c417. Very painful. But I deserve it...

I destroyed my iPhone 3g trying to install a new battery. My wife was yelling at me to stop, that it still was working, blah blah blah...

Been waiting for this for a few months...

I always knew I made a lot of use of the Maps app but it's still a sore spot to not be able to use it even though I KNEW I wouldn't have it for a couple of weeks.

Razr V3xx, i can't believe that before i got my iPhone 3G i thought this phone ruled. HA!
I do still like the blue light TRON look the buttons give off.

+1, and for the people afraid to put their SIM in, just talk to AT&T and tell them you're traveling, don't want to bring your phone with you, and that you want to keep your data plan so don't remove it. Get confirmation with their name, their super's name, etc and put the sim in. No worries here about my decision :D

PS: My wife says that she's making me delicious star wars cookies and I'm a huge nerd. Looks like I've been too obsessed with this phone

i talked to a att rep last week and she said that only if you are a brand new att customer , would you have to choose a new data plan option (not unlimted) so i dont see how using a old phone (not a iphone) would effect your data plan being unlimited.

I've finally decided that I don't like the Droid - it particularly sucks as a phone and the browser is not great. Android is ugly, clunky and laggy - even with a rooted/overclocked Droid.

Can't complain too much. The wife's Eris is an absolute POS.

OMG that phone never sent any of my messages EVER! I had to keep it open and wait a minute for it to send. I talked to AT&T and they said that I couldn't have a replacement.. That thing is the biggest POS i've ever held in the entire world!!!!!
My father had to use when his 8 year old nokia finally kicked the bucket. It dropped so many of his business calls he couldn't take it anymore. Went the whole way to the at&t store and bought a new phone that worked.

Hah, well I bought mine from a 3rd party source, unlocked and without any AT&T software on it. It sends texts and does pretty much everything else just fine. Maybe it was just AT&T's version.

I'm still using my 8GB 3G, haven't sold it. Gonna use it as an iPod touch.

the original verizon iphone wannabe from 2007, long time out of contract and overdue for upgrade.

I hated my LG Voyager.
Well, I got it in Jan 2008 (released late November 2007) and I loved it, but I had never used an iPhone. Loved the keyboard, the keys were spaced out fine for me. In March (or May, not sure), I had it replaced three times in one week. First was a software issue after an update was done at Verizon. Next two were because the screen was coming out of the case. 4th one was ok. The screen wasn't down completely, but it wasn't coming out of the frame either. Lots of software quirks over the time had brought me to dislike the phone. After the 3G came out, I went to my buddy at AT&T and preordered an 8GB. When it came in, I ported my number from VZW and haven't looked back since.

Check below for what I was talking about. The dim/blurry image was my 2nd Voyager, the brighter sharp one was my 3rd Voyager. On the 3rd one, in addition to the screen coming out of the frame, you can actually see the screen separating a little bit too. Didn't notice that before.

Just kicking this out there to the guys that are worrying about their data plans......When I send an iPhone off at BestBuy we give them a ****** nokia loner phone.

Also just for fun I went into my AT&T store and their regional manager of smart phones (Data side of the business) was at that store for some reason and said I would keep the Unlimited plan no worries. He also suggested I go to walmart and buy a GoPhone in the time in between my iPhones......Nice fellow.

In other news I am stuck using a BlackBerry Pearl 8100......god I hate it.

Been using a Palm Centro all day (also trying out an Evo 4G for 30 days) Called AT&T Business Customer Service, they said I'll get to keep my Unlimited Data plan even though I've been using the Centro.

though i use an iphone 3gs, and had the 3g before.. in 2006 or 2007 i had been using SE phones. my latest was the wonderful w880i. i loved it for its form factor. i believe it was the thinnest phone in the world at the time. i googled to see how thin it was a couple days ago, only to find the iphone 4 is .1 mm thinnre!

This was my pre iphone phone. Loved it. Sprog has one still.

Using my ****** RAZR at the moment, got it years ago as a temporary phone between iPhones. The volume keys are missing, the keys don't work sometimes, and the front has water damage, but whatever. Just 7 more days.
