Verizon's LTE sure does suck in some locations.

Here is Tacoma, WA:

And here is where I live... four bars and keep in mind I'm in the middle of dark red LTE according to their maps. So disappointing.

If I may ask, do you live in Tacoma? I do and I have to choose between Verizon and AT&T. Need some advice from a local.

I live in olympia, but I'm all around Tacoma pretty much 4 days a week. I had AT&T up until this past weekend when I moved to verizon after I secured an unlimited data plan. AT&T is pretty solid for the entire city. Some areas seem to average 40Mb while some average about 20Mb. That first verizon screenshot was on 6th ave near mlk. But I haven't been around the city enough to test verizon completely. But it's looking pretty solid as well.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. Seems they are both good in this area.

I don't have an iPhone 5 but a iPad Mini. LTE was finally enabled in my area yesterday. This was at the Boulder Turnpike / Pecos intersection in Denver Colorado last night. Sadly, I live just two blocks east of here and LTE is completely gone. I had no idea LTE signals were that sensitive to where they could drop off so quickly.

Awesome ping, but still horrid speed...

I hope they fix it sooner or later.

Los Angeles.

Fastest speeds I've ever seen. And it's not during the middle of the night. Lol
