Yes, an iPhone 6.

Hmmm... I wonder why you didn't get faster speeds? Were you by the LL Bean as the poster below was?

Head over by the LL Bean. The towers by that plaza have CA live with AT&T.

The towers by the Mall do not have CA live yet (as of last week)

Would you post a screen shot while in service mode? I'm curious to see what it looks like when using two channels on AT&T.

Yes. I pulled up to the front store to run the tests. I wonder if AutoUnion39's tests were done during a time when there wasn't as much demand on the system? I was there at about 2PM on Friday. People all over the place including the intense traffic on Route 93 (1 hour ride home turned into 3).

I was in Providence yesterday so I still by the area where I've seen my highest non-Wifi speeds. That was in the low 70s. New highest speed off of Wifi is 81.98. Both of these were seen outside of Brown University.

btw- this app works great but the ads in this app are a PITA.

Agreed about tha app. It is great. I paid to rid myself of the ads. Think it was like a dollar when I did it.

Download speeds are usually higher than upload. I sometimes see it reversed though. I don't remember the exact numbers but I believe a few of my tests produced downloads in the high teens while uploads were in the 20s. Why is that?

Can't. iPhone's Service Mode is pretty poor. It doesn't show CA specifically.

The only I could confirm was to use a Samsung device or see speed tests that go over 74 Mbps down.

Sorry for the late response. New tapatalk is terrible.

Those speeds are within line for a Friday afternoon with tons of traffic. I'm usually in that area in the late evening after work or in the morning, which is why I can hit 100mbps repeatedly.

The vast majority of people in the area use AT&T and Verizon so lower speeds are expected during the rush.

Won't it show both frequencies that are available? I entered service mode on a friend's 6+ (on Verizon) and it showed me two different frequencies. I only had 30 seconds to look at it as he was in a hurry...

It should, but it never works right for me

This is on a Samsung phone. Clearly shows CA

Very impressive. Thanks god I didn't switch to t-mo. You helped me a lot with my decision.
I got 84 mb today on Soldiers Field Road next to Harvard. In a small tunnel on Storrow Drive i had 2 bars of lte, before iphone jumped on 4g, and radio tunein radio didn't allow iphone to go back on lte.
Att is really improving, their quality is better and better. Cannot say the same on t-mo outside of Boston.BTW my tmobile account page is down for a month already. I called thrm 10 times, no solution at all. They politely send you deep and far :).
The only hope Att reduce international rates a bit. I'm not expecting free roaming, but not hundreds as it now.
Just came back from Canada day trip, enjoyed free T-mo LTE there.

Glad to help!

I've spotted more and more carrier aggregation sites over the last few days, especially around Cambridge and Lower Allston. I've 70+ mbps in the middle of Harvard Square during lunchtime. Fantastic speeds and coverage!

In a gift shop at Savannah, GA. Busy little tourist/historical town. 10x10/band 4. Peaked at 38 down. Most spots are less than 10 down.
