I dunno about solutions for Mac, but back when I was a PC user, I had a KVM that allowed switching by hitting scroll lock twice followed by the up arrow. Best thing was there was no software required, so I could plug in any machine I wanted and it would work straight away.

This one works that way also, but only in Windows, so once I switch from Windows I am unable to switch back without pushing the button on the kvm switch. BOO

I have mine hidden away on my pull-out drawer that has my keyboard and mouse on it. It is just downright ugly and cumbersome.

Where do you do your homework/studying? 😕

I usually just move away my keyboard. But most of my homework and studying is done on my computer. Studying from electronic notes made studying for midterms sooo much easier!

Bedroom: Normally the Mac stays on this desk (not the other setup where my Mac is too). The Before pic is a really crappy pic I took a while ago with my old desk, but thats all I had.

When I'm out of the house or trying to study without computer:

Office: Pretty much the same as before, so I'm just going to quote what I posted earlier.

Macbook Pro, Acer 21.5 inch (1080p) + 17" Dell (1024 x 1280).
You can't see my Logitech speakers. Those Dell ones are for the other desktop (look at third image)

Nothing like using an AP environmental science book to raise your monitor a few inches 😀

I couldn't find my iPod Mini, but here you see my iPhone 3GS 32GB, iPod Touch 1st Gen 8GB, iPod Touch 2nd Gen 8GB, iPod Nano 1st Gen 2GB.

Under my desk:

Free printer from Apple, my custom build desktop (see signature for specs), some boxes with ink/toner/software/extra hardware and on the far right, you see my Dell Dimension 8400. (Pentium 4, 3.2ghz; 1GB RAM; ATi x300 128MB, 160GB HDD)

I didn't do any "cable management" for the simple reason ... I don't really care haha. Well actually, I did that build when I was 13... so yeah.

...connected to my 22'' Samsung 226BW which is a great monitor and has been, accept an insect has died in it near the top middle section make it sometimes quite annoying.

I had to open up a friends 24" the other day because something got behind the LCD. Never heard of that happening, and now I have twice. Lol weird.

The servers are all on the metal cabinet while I have all my other macs that still need to be processed all on the floor 😛

I just received 3 eMacs w/ keyboards and even the original packaging aswell from my high school as I offered to sell the computers for them.

I also received 2 iMac G3s from them aswell.

Unfortunately Im back at my parents until I find a new house so
kinda tight on space lol.
Anyway, I've just crossed over to the Darkside and bought a Powermac G3 ( In storage )
And an emac G4 off my brother. I will bbe upgrading eventually to either an imac, A Powermac or a mac mini...

So anyway, before it arrives here, Here's my ( New to me ) emac G5 currently at my brothers house... Please Excuse the iphone taken photos -

And this is where it will be going...

The Tv will be going higher up either on a bracket or a shelf ( Stong one lol! ) And the emac will go in that corner.
It really is a pin being here as I can't have my gear set up the way I want 🙁 Believe me, I have £1000's worth of cinema/audiophile/computer/DJ gear all in storage in my parents garage. - Long story, Went through a nasty break up a year and a half ago, So me and my seven year old are living back here now in my old room lol.

Yeah but that would be too easy. Actually I tried that but some of the other cables wouldn't reach, so either way I would have to buy new cables. Plus the tower hides a mistake I made when I made the shelf.

Nice, I have always like those.

You know, I'd have thought having a mac helps an awful lot in cutting down clutter and improving workflow and info management..

it is funny I see these setups with one monitor on the desk with nothing else in site and yawn, while others say they like the elegance. To each their own.🙂

Btw I love Eames and Eames inspired chairs.

That eMac really brings back memories of when I had mine. Great computer it was, and pretty quick even before I sold it a few years back. It's alright though, I replaced it with a iMac G4 so that has eased the pain a bit haha.
