Sold my iMac 27-inch and trying out the AOC IPS 27-inch screen. Looks fantastic but the built in speakers suck. Also sort of a downgrade going from 2560x1440 to 1920x1080!

How much of a downgrade is it? Do you notice tbe pixels easily? Also where did you get the display stand?
It feels like I'm going from 1080 to 720... or maybe like a rMBP to a standard screen (well maybe not THAT drastic). For the price of the AOC which is on sale at Best Buy for $229, it's an excellent value and I like the flexibility of being able to plug in non-thunderbolt devices. I was considering the Dell Ultrasharp u2713hm but it's over double the price, but you do get what you pay for

Finally bought a Thunderbolt Display and cleaned up my setup a bit.
I've been wanting one forever and finally bought one about a week ago. Feels great!
Not pictured is my space grey iPhone 6 because it's the only thing I own that will take a decent picture. Still wish I could take much better pictures of my setup to post in here!

Is the Logitech gaming keyboard connected to the MBP or do you have a PC under the desk?
Connected to the MBP. I wanted to try a mechanical keyboard and the G710+ is pretty solid
I've read that the drivers are a little wonky under Yosemite, do you find this to be the case?
Yeah, it can act up a little bit sometimes, but it works well more times than not. Great keyboard though, can work without the driver
Almost pulled the trigger on one of these, especially with the backlit keys. Ended up with a matias quiet pro because the cherry browns are too lightweight for me.
I have recently been reviewing getting some new monitors. I LOVE the look of the AOC 27" yet the resolution just rules it out for me. Such a shame!
Still have 40-something days to return this. Really hard decision because 2560x1440 IPS screens cost 3-5 times more than this and I will sacrifice some frame rates on gaming. Overall though the OAC is an excellent value.

I bought it from a site here in the UK called SOF (Solider of Fortune) it sells all kinds of reenactment kit from weapons to uniforms. Obviously to buy replica firearms UK law requires one to be a member of either a museum, TV production company or a member of a war reenactment/historical society and membership is needed as proof, otherwise you are not able to purchase a non firing replica.

I've had a new desk sitting in the other room for months and still need to put it together.
And here it is, put together, after 5 months of sitting in the other room in pieces. I'm pretty happy with it!

That is correct although not directly setup related I do have a Sonos Play 5 and connected to the Apple TV is a Beats Beatbox (optical to analogue DAC in between).

The HiRise is a nice addition but it does have some drawbacks that I found annoying but not dealbreakers:
The Air seems a bit too light for the rubber padding to hold on to: when a cable is attached that has some pulling force on it; the MacBook gets slowly dragged towards that cable.
The hard-plastic padding underneath is not ideal: it makes it too easy for the stand to move around with minimal force applied. They should have made this out of the same padding material that they use on top of the stand.
