Only 2 Mac Mini's Both monitors are connected to the 2018 one, which I use daily and I use Screen Sharing to access the 2014 one as and when I need to use it.
got it so Remote Desktop is the way to switch between different desktops. No wonder I seen a few setups have an older Mac Pro side by side with an iMac ...

Good point, yes it probably would but I already got the white trackpad replacement! I think I'm about done, finally got a little sitting area setup.

Still rocking this ^ setup in my office, need a new desk but otherwise no changes.

My wife has an office nook in our beedroom, and I finally upgraded her old intel iMac with a new MBP + Mac mini + hub + Studio Display setup. She's the marketing manager for our business and also a content creator for her separate social media business, so LOTS of media and files. The 1TB Mac mini + the 4TB in the hub is a game changer for her as far as storage goes! We tried the Satechi and Minisopuru hubs and the Satechi didn't work well, interfered with wifi and the Minisopuru doesn't. My guess is because Satechi has USB 3.2 ports? IDK

my current set up. I still haven’t made the jump yet to Apple silicon. Still using a top spec 2020 5k iMac i7, 2TB SSD, 128gb Ram and 5700XT. My girlfriend bought this 2020 iMac for me as a gift last year. She picked it up from the marketplace for $900 CAD from a local professional video editor who upgraded to silicon. I currently use it to edit wedding photos, edit R6ii video footage and run windows 11 Pro on it for gaming. It’s more than fast enough for my usage. I still have my top spec 2017 i7 5k iMac and running Mac OS Sequoia on it. I downgraded Mac OS on my 2020 to Sequoia too as Tahoe ran like crap in FCPX. I also have a spare i9 10900k cpu laying around and might install it into the 2020 5k iMac for the hell of it and replace the oem thermal paste with higher end paste. Anyhow when it fully loses support then I’ll probably jump to silicon when it hits m6 or m7 😆

I still have an older 2006 iMac that still runs, but very slowly since it has no SSD. Has 4GB RAM, the maximum it could take. I think I will take the RAM out of it and sell it for thousands given the RAM boom at the moment... ;)

The book if you are wondering (with the early Mercedes 300SL cars) is Mercedes-Benz Quicksilver Century (1995) by Karl Ludvigsen.

And the 1:18 scale cars are:

- Bugatti EB110 Supersport (on top of Mac Pro)

And the large line up from left:

- Porsche 917-001 1969 (Gulf colours, September 30, 1969, at the Carlton Tower Hotel London)
- Porsche 917-022 1970 (Solar Productions - Steve McQueen)
- Porsche 917-042 1970 (Porsche Konstruktionen KG, Austria)
- Porsche 917-043 1970 (Martini International Racing Team)
- Porsche 917-053 1971 (Martini International Racing Team)
- Porsche 917/20-001 1971 (Porsche AG)
- Porsche 956C-002 1982 (Porsche AG / Rothmans)
- Porsche 956C-106 1983 (Canon Racing, Richard Lloyd)
- Dauer 962LM GT-002 ex 962-173? (Le Mans Porsche Team, Jochen Dauer/Porsche)
- Dauer 962LM GT-003 ex 962-176 (Le Mans Porsche Team, Jochen Dauer/Porsche)

Note it's very hard to know the history of those Dauer cars given the construction and dismantling and re-building of them.

Love this dude. I used to do the same with my 2006 Mac pro and out my Audi RS4 B5 model on it. Then on my desk were my Audi S2 and few Honda CRX's. Then my Honda CBR and Kawasaki Ninja.

Still enjoying my 2017 iMac. Quad core i5, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD. One of the most powerful Intel machines I have owned.

My 2011 quad core i5 with 32GB RAM and SSD has its own benefits, namely the ability to run older OS versions.
