I am I little worried about there not being any vent holes on the bottom sticker though.
The sticker is thin enough to provide air flow through out the whole MacBook. I've had mine for about 3 months now. No problems with heat. The back vent isn't covered so there isn't a problem.
Got a carbon fiber skin for it in black, with a white cutout for the apple logo.
Its to go with exactly the same skin for my ipad. Will most likely look to do the same thing with the back of the new iPhone.
Other than making everything match, I do it to make it look unique. Everyone uses those crappy logo stickers now.
If they were available, I'd have a black cutout instead to completely cover the apple logo, which would leave the outline of the apple to shine through, and would look awesome.

Just Google "macbook pro decals," you'll get a bunch of sites that sell them. Personally, i like the look and feel of the the bare aluminum. I refuse to put stickers on it, which makes it look atrocious, as evidenced by the first picture.
It's hip and it protects your computer in many ways. I nearly walked off with someone else's computer after an airport security check. We both were carrying the exact same notebook. Since then I've put on a sticker so that I can recognize mine. For sure, nobody is walking away with yours by mistake.,.
That's because they ( and many others ) would rather not pay bags of money to Apple ( or other companies ) for some rights that would allow them to use such branding without having to worry about possible nasty consequences. Although people / viewers can most of the time easily tell the brand beneath the sticker, from a legal point of view, the company producing the TV show / commercial / whatever is quite safe from possible lawsuits.
