The SE/30 and PowerBook 180c both have Motorola 68030 processors, not PPC.

My oldest PPC is a Power Macintosh 6100, but I haven't had time to see if it still works. My 6200 works, though, but it's a big time road Apple.

I have a PowerMac G4 733MHZ quicksilver. I believe it was originally purchased in 2002. A friend gave it to me so while I haven't had it most of it's life, I do now!

Power Mac 6500/275, 96mb ram, 4GB HDD, OS 8.6, video capture card from factory. Though it mainly sits in my closet, every now and then I'll hook it up to a monitor just to see what's on it.

I have an old 5450CD? Performa or something of that nature. It has a bad hard drive though. Got it in '94-95 back when a Mac was a Mac :D. Have all the original stuff like boxes and Apple 15" CRT somewhere up in the attic.

Does that count as "Living"? :p

Power mac G4 Agp

I have a :apple:PowerMac G4 Agp Graphics

Just picked another orphan powermac. G3 blue & white 350MHz with 320MB Ram. It had a corrupt install of 9.2 on. Quick rummage in my bits'n'pieces bin found a DVDRom and a couple of PC100 sticks - now she has just finished an install of Tiger with 512MB on her 6GB hard disk :)

Will make a nice machine for my nephew to play with.

(picked up a classic too but needs fans looking at and some boot disks)

I'm surprised, I expected a bunch of people with G5s to say that was their oldest lol.
My oldest is my MDD 867 G4 :)

My oldest (working) mac is is an iMac G4 1.25 USB 2.0 built week 50 of 2002 ;) .
I just trashed a bondi iMac G3 :'(

My oldest is an iMac G3, 400 MHz Blueberry. I also have an 800 MHz iBook G3, and a Dual 1 GHz Power Mac G4 which is dead (fixing it soon hopefully).

I figured I'd take the picture since I'm home due to stomach flu but here's my (really awesome) setup.

PowerBook G4 12 1.5, 1.25gb, 10.5.8, 160gb HDD
Cinema Display 20"
Wireless Keyboard and Mighty Mouse
Bose Companion 2 Speakers
iPad 64gb WiFi
Twelve South BookArc

As my B&W G3 seems to be having logicboard related issues (I/O errors not related to the HD, a reluctance to boot, randomly deciding it doesn't like my RAM), my oldest "surviving as in fully functional" PPC Mac is my Clamshell.

I love my Clamshell. I had to restore a friend's 4 year old HP laptop from the clutches of some bad malware, and after a clean install of Windows 7, was amazed that my iBook can boot faster. My friend couldn't believe it. We did it twice just to be sure (the first time was a fluke; I just happened to turn them both on at the same time, as I was downloading patches and security software for him through the iBook to prevent any infections before he got set up).

A good looking setup and a nice mix of Apple tech you've got there. How do you like the Bose Companion 2 speakers?

P.S.: Get well soon.

Thank you!

The Bose speakers are great, I didn't invest in the subwoofer though, but they still sound excellent.

I have a PowerMac 6100 and a PowerMac 7100! The first two powerpcs!
The 6100 have a NewerTech G3 210 MHz card!
The 7100 has the Apple AV card.
I also have a Apple PC compatibility card, a 486 DX 66mhz, but I had to remove it to fit the G3 card.

Tbh, I'm not 100% sure the 6100 works, and I haven't put much time into figure it out. The 7100 ran like a champ last time i tested it.

I also have quite a few macs in storage:
Mac SE, Mac SE30, 2x Mac IIsi, Centris 610, PowerMac 6100, PowerMac 7100, Umax S900 PPC604 @180Mhz, PowerMac G3/266 (clocked to 300mhz with added CPU fan, always been 100% stable).
Powerbook 180, Duo 230, Duo 280, Duo 2300, iBook G3/300

Other strange Apple stuff:
Apple SC 40 HD, Apple SC 80 HD, Apple CD 160 HD, Duo Dock (fullsize) and a minidock that just adds SCSI, ethernet and VGA

Computers that are still in use:
PowerMac G4/450 mhz (2x80 GB HD and 1x120GB, 724 MB ram, Geforce 4MX, Adaptec SCSI card.)
Was a work horse for several years! Amazing machine!
iMac G5 1.8GHz 20inch, upgraded with Airport and 1.5TB HD.

PowerMac G4 (Digital Audio) w/ 466MHz running Tiger Server. Both fans replaced with silent ones, and the hard drive is mounted on silencers.
I'm looking for a dual cpu board or 1/1.6GHz Sonnet upgrade right now, and a PSU which fits the power connector, has a 120/140mm fan inside, and is 80+ certified. I'm going to install 6 2TB WD Caviar Green drives in RAID0+1 via PCI-SATA-Controllers.

It's going to be the King of the G4 home servers.

G4 cube, radeon 7000, 10.5.8.

I did a little scanning the other day and was pleasantly surprised at how well my scanner works on usb1 and how well Photoshop elements 6 runs.

G4 400 Sawtooth, I filled the ram slots with memory from abandoned computers on garbage days. I use this mostly for old OS9 apps and iTunes.

iBook G4 800 for something to take out of the house.

Performa 6250 CD, I installed a TV tuner I found on eBay and an ethernet card. Have not started it up in about a year, it's about time....

I also have an Apple II Woz edition I have to get out of the closet soon.

The Performa 6200 series with a TV tuner and the video in board is amazing for TV purposes. I start mine up from the ram disk and use an old Sony remote to watch TV on some massive 22" CRT I found in a dumpster. Love it.
