pfft only the one album*? try everything they've ever released, as well as Clint. I've been to see them about 3 times and they are coming over here again in the summer which is bloody brilliant.

*go out and buy the others they are worth it, especially the earlier stuff...

I think I will now, I am not sure how I came across that one to begin with as none of my friends have heard of them. I listen to Emo Holocaust whenever I need a good laugh. However, sometimes (more often than not, I swear it knows) my shuffle hates me and plays Death Cab For Cutie right before that.

anyways, I couldn't even get a simple png with my last name to work...

I like the "Booting Again..." one :)

I used to have a 3D picture of a old Mac (no idea what one) saying "Hello" on the screen in a handwriting font... Looked pretty cool until the Mac died :(

Oi! - how do you change the apple image on the boot screen? tell meeeeeeee!

EDIT: I think i got it. I'll post again if i have problems.

I used Photoshop with the Boot Screen Image in the center, with #BFBFBF as the Background with a Screen Grab of a Progress Indicator from Interface Builder.

*Yes, I faked the screener, but thats what my boot screen looks like now*

Cheers!

So this messed up my boot sequence...Macbook doesn't like this and now I have to reboot like 3 times if I shut down. hitting Default image didn't help...any suggestions please.

Did you get an error message when you applied the image to BootXChanger? If the image was too complex or was too many colours you probably did. Apply a boot image from the Sample Boot Images from the DMG, and click Apply. Enter Admin Password and you should be right. If you are on 10.5.3 Beta it won't work. If you are on Tiger 10.4.11, it wont work. Only on 10.4.10 or Leopard. ( I Tried with Tiger 10.4.11 and it failed ).

Hope it works!

Thanks for the Happy Mac! I've adjusted it so it reminds me more of the one on my Classic.

I actually have the original Happy Mac used in 'Old World' Mac computers. I think Old World has something to do with the ROM.

Here you go. Just to make it a tad more real :D.

Well nothing I have tried works.. Using the classic apple no, using a squre bfbfb 100x100 GIF no, tyring to restore to the default no.

I just get this messed up black box where something should be, and the boot sequence is all messed up I have to hold down C, then let go before it goes into hardware test.

not fun.

Wooh, this has got me hooked on the classic style. Anyone know any good OS9 or earlier themes and/or icon sets for OS X?

Im 250% positive I used to have a Classic OS 9 theme for Tiger on my iMac before Leopard. I got it from InterfaceLift under Themes, searching for Mac OS 9. I have a few Mac OS 9 Folder Icons if you want them...in colours too.

Cheers!

With that, use this desktop picture for your login screen background. :)

Leopard: System-library-coreservices and rename the jpeg to DefaultDesktop.

EDIT: I decided to do that. Here is the boot image.

That would be really cool to see. :D

I too have the classic rainbow apple. So awesome . I love it when I boot up my mac in front of other (but not as pro) mac users, and they go .

I tried to making an autobots logo a while back.. But I could never get it to work :( I made it really basic and it was only 4 bytes or some thing like that but still never worked :(
One day I will have an autobots boot logo :D
